Iphone Solution Unable to install iOS 15 update

1. Make sure your iPhone is compatible

2. Connect to a stable Wi-Fi

Making sure you have stable Wi-Fi is very important. Also, make sure you have disabled the VPN on your iPhone or on the router. If the cafe's Wi-Fi won't let you download updates, consider using Wi-Fi at home or at work.

3. Make sure you have more than 50% battery

You need more than 50% battery to install iOS update. If it costs less than that, connect your iPhone to charge it. While charging or when the battery is more than 50%, you can download and install iOS updates easily.

4. Make sure you have enough free space

To download and install iOS updates, make sure you have enough free space. If you don't have enough free space, a message will be displayed on the upgrade screen.

5. Wait a bit or try again later

This is an almost sure solution to fix the failed software update issue. Some time ago my iPhone update also crashed. I switched to three different Wi-Fi networks. Even so, the update was not downloaded. Finally, reset the network settings and everything worked fine.

Note: It will not delete any personal data like apps, photos, videos, music, etc. However, all network settings related to Wi-Fi, cellular and more will be deleted.

1. Open iPhone Settings and tap General.
2. Touch Reset → Reset network settings.
3. Once done, try to download and install the update again. This will work.

In rare cases, if that doesn't help, go ahead and reset all settings. It will also not delete any personal data. But all the settings you change or add, like notifications, keyboard, Wi-Fi, location, VPN, etc. will be reset to the default state.
